Katrin Langhans, born in 1987, works as a revelation journalist for the Süddeutsche Zeitung. She was part of the team that researched the Panama and Paradise Papers, reconstructed the rampage in the Olympia shopping center in Munich with Twitter data, and researched the business of the Predatory Journals together with international media. She was honored with the Henri Nannen Prize and the Reporter Award for her investigative work.
She is interested in data driven journalism, storytelling and looks for inconspicuous heroes that stand for a systemic problem that needs to be revealed.
